The Story of Tudor's
Tudor's Biscuit World was the idea of Bill and Mae Tudor. Their son, John Tudor, also helped create the business. Bill and Mae opened the very first Tudor's restaurant in Charleston, West Virginia, in 1980.
John Tudor joined them two months later. He had just finished college at East Carolina University. They opened more restaurants in the Charleston and Huntington areas. Soon, they started selling franchises. This allowed other people to open Tudor's restaurants.
In 1986, Bill Tudor passed away. John and his mother, Mae, kept growing the business. They partnered with Oshel Craigo to continue expanding the franchise.
