Tudor's Biscuit World is a popular restaurant chain. It's a type of business where many different owners run stores under the same brand, called a franchise. The company started in Huntington, West Virginia. You'll find most of its restaurants in West Virginia.

Tudor's is famous for its biscuits and biscuit sandwiches. They also serve homemade breakfasts and dinners. You can find muffins and many side dishes on their menu. The chain was first based in Charleston, West Virginia. Many of their biscuit sandwiches are named after local sports teams. These include teams from Marshall University, West Virginia University, and The University of Charleston.

The Story of Tudor's

Tudor's Biscuit World was the idea of Bill and Mae Tudor. Their son, John Tudor, also helped create the business. Bill and Mae opened the very first Tudor's restaurant in Charleston, West Virginia, in 1980.

John Tudor joined them two months later. He had just finished college at East Carolina University. They opened more restaurants in the Charleston and Huntington areas. Soon, they started selling franchises. This allowed other people to open Tudor's restaurants.

In 1986, Bill Tudor passed away. John and his mother, Mae, kept growing the business. They partnered with Oshel Craigo to continue expanding the franchise.
