Tures, often called Ángeles or Los Ángeles, is a district in Costa Rica. It is part of the Santo Domingo canton, which is located in the Heredia province. Think of a district as a specific area or neighborhood within a larger town or region.

A Look Back at Tures
Tures became an official district on December 10, 1971. This happened because of a special government decision called a "Decreto Ejecutivo." Before that, Tures was part of another district named San Miguel. This change meant Tures got its own official identity and boundaries.
