Tutankhamen Marqués Reyes, born on October 28, 1977, is a former professional American football player. He played as a guard, which is a key position on the offensive line. Tutan was chosen by the New Orleans Saints in the 2000 NFL draft. Before joining the pros, he played college football at the University of Mississippi. Throughout his career, he also played for teams like the Carolina Panthers, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants and Houston Texans.

Growing Up and High School Sports
Tutan Reyes grew up in Queens, New York. He went to August Martin High School. He was a great player in both football and basketball. In football, he earned "All-Queens" honors. He was also picked for the Coaches All-City Team. During his senior year, he played as a tight end. He caught 18 passes for 413 yards. He also scored five touchdowns.
College Football Career
Tutan Reyes played college football at the University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss. He started 25 games during his time there. For his last two seasons, he started 24 games in a row at left tackle. In 1999, his senior year, coaches named him to the Second-team All-Southeastern Conference. This is a big honor in college football.
Reyes helped his team, the Ole Miss Rebels, finish with a 7–4 record. They also won the Independence Bowl against the University of Oklahoma. The Rebels' offense was very strong at running the ball. They were second in their conference. Their running back, Deuce McAllister, was a top player.

New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints picked Tutan Reyes in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL draft. This means they chose him as the 131st player overall. He played for the Saints for two seasons. He appeared in one game during that time. The Saints later decided to release him early in the 2002 NFL season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
After leaving the Saints, Tutan Reyes was quickly picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was on their active roster for two games. However, he did not get to play in those games. He was released by the Buccaneers shortly after.
Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers then signed Reyes after he left the Buccaneers. He did not play in any regular-season games in 2002 or 2003. In the 2004 NFL season, he started 12 games. He played both right and left guard for the Panthers. Their offensive line used five different starting groups that year.
Reyes made his first NFL start at left guard in 2004. This was against the Kansas City Chiefs. He helped his team's running back, DeShaun Foster, rush for 174 yards. This was one of the highest rushing totals in Panthers history. The 2005 NFL season was his best year as a professional. He started all 16 regular season games. He also started all three of the Panthers' playoff games. His strong play helped the Panthers reach the NFC Championship game.
Buffalo Bills
After the 2005 season, Reyes left the Panthers. He then signed with the Buffalo Bills. He started the first six games of the 2006 season at left guard. Unfortunately, he suffered a shoulder injury. This injury ended his season early.
Jacksonville Jaguars
On August 19, 2007, Reyes joined the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played in one game that season. In 2008, he played in 15 games for the Jaguars. He started three of those games.
New York Giants
Reyes signed with his hometown team, the New York Giants, on May 21, 2009. However, he was released by the team on September 15 of that same year.
Houston Texans
Tutan Reyes was signed by the Houston Texans on October 14, 2009. This was the final team he played for in his 10-year NFL career.
