Tutankhamen Marqués Reyes, born on October 28, 1977, is a former American football player. He played as a guard, which is a position on the offensive line. The New Orleans Saints picked him in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL draft. Before that, he played college football for the University of Mississippi.
Throughout his career, he also played for teams like the Carolina Panthers, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, and Houston Texans.

Growing Up: Tutan Reyes' Early Life
Tutan Reyes went to August Martin High School in Queens, New York. He was a great athlete in both football and basketball. In football, he earned "All-Queens" honors. He was also chosen for the Coaches All-City Team.
As a senior, he played as a tight end. He caught 18 passes for 413 yards. He also scored five touchdowns.
College Football: Playing for Ole Miss
Reyes played college football at the University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss. He started 25 games during his time there. For his last two seasons, he started 24 games in a row as a left tackle.
In 1999, during his senior year, coaches named him to the Second-team All-Southeastern Conference. Reyes helped his team finish third in the SEC with a 7–4 record. They also won against the University of Oklahoma in the Independence Bowl.
The Ole Miss offense was very strong that year. They ranked second in the SEC for rushing yards. Running back Deuce McAllister was a star player. He led the conference in all-purpose yards per game.

New Orleans Saints: Starting His NFL Journey
The New Orleans Saints drafted Reyes in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL draft. He played for the Saints for two seasons. During that time, he played in one game. The Saints released him early in the 2002 NFL season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: A Short Stop
Right after the Saints released him, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked up Reyes. He was on their active roster for two games. However, he did not play in any of those games. He was released by the Buccaneers shortly after.
Carolina Panthers: Finding His Stride
After leaving the Buccaneers, Reyes was picked up by the Carolina Panthers. He did not play in any regular-season games in 2002 or 2003.
In the 2004 NFL season, he started 12 games. He played at both right and left guard. The Panthers' offensive line used five different starting groups that year. Reyes made his first NFL start at left guard against the Kansas City Chiefs. He helped running back DeShaun Foster rush for 174 yards. This was one of the highest totals in Panthers history.
The 2005 NFL season was Reyes' best year as a professional. He started all 16 regular season games. He also started in all three of the Panthers' playoff games. His strong play helped the Panthers reach the NFC Championship game for the second time in three years.
Buffalo Bills: A Season Cut Short
After the 2005 season, Reyes left the Panthers. He signed with the Buffalo Bills. He started the first six games of the 2006 season at left guard. Unfortunately, he suffered a shoulder injury. This injury ended his season early.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Back on the Field
On August 19, 2007, Reyes signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played in one game that season. In 2008, Reyes played in 15 games, starting three of them.
New York Giants: Playing for His Hometown Team
Reyes signed with his hometown team, the New York Giants, on May 21, 2009. However, he was released by the team on September 15 of that year.
Houston Texans: The Final Team
Reyes was signed by the Houston Texans on October 14, 2009. This was the last team he played for in his 10-year NFL career.
