Markets Worldwide

The Twister is a fun and swirly ice cream treat on a stick. It first came out in 1982. This popular frozen snack is made by a company called Unilever, specifically by their Heartbrand division, which makes many different ice creams.

A classic Twister has a yummy mix of flavors. The outside is a twist of pineapple ice cream and lime-flavored fruit ice. Inside, you'll find sweet strawberry fruit ice. The whole treat is shaped like a cool spiral!

Twister Flavors and Fun Versions

The Twister ice cream has come in many different flavors and sizes over the years. Some of these are still around today, while others were special editions.

Mini Twister Treats

If you love Twisters, you might find a smaller version called the "Mini Twister." These are often sold in packs with several ice creams. Sometimes, in these packs, some of the Mini Twisters have their flavors switched around. This means the strawberry part might be on the outside instead of the inside!

Past and New Twister Flavors

Over time, different Twister flavors have been introduced. For example, in the United Kingdom, there was a "Twister Blackcurrant" that mixed strawberry, vanilla, lemon, and blackcurrant flavors. There was also a "Twister Choc" that combined vanilla, chocolate, and caramel flavors.

In March 2008, a Twister with plum and anise flavors was launched. However, it was only available for about two months because not many people bought it.

More recently, in 2023, two exciting new flavors were released. One was "Twister Fruit Zingerrr," which had purple, green, and yellow fruit ice. It tasted like tangy apple, sour lemon, and sweet blueberry. The other new flavor was "Twister Peek-A-Blue." This one was blue, yellow, and pink fruit ice with apple-blueberry, refreshing melon, and sweet strawberry-lemon flavors.
