Two Hummock Island is a cool, ice-covered island located in a faraway place called the Palmer Archipelago. It's part of Antarctica, the coldest continent on Earth!
This island is about 9.4 kilometers (that's about 5.8 miles) long from north to south. What makes it really stand out are its two big, rocky peaks that stick up high above the ice. These peaks are named Buache Peak and Modev Peak. They are super tall, reaching about 670 meters (or 2,198 feet) high!
Two Hummock Island is found near other islands in the Palmer Archipelago. It lies about 9.6 kilometers (6 miles) southeast of Liège Island. It's also about 11.5 kilometers (7.1 miles) east of Brabant Island. The name "Two Hummock Island" has been used on maps for more than 100 years. Everyone around the world knows it by this name.
