Type-99 light machine gun facts for kids
The Type-99 light machine gun was a squad automatic weapon used by the Japanese during World War II. It was based on the British Bren LMG, but it had some unusual features. First, it had a bayonet attachment, which is not usually made for LMGs. Second, its magazines had a counter that tells the shooter how many bullets are left.
