Tyrell Fuimaono, born on March 6, 1996, is an Australian professional rugby league player. He played as a forward, which means he was part of the team that helps gain ground and defend. Tyrell last played for the St. George Illawarra Dragons in the National Rugby League (NRL).
Before joining the Dragons, he also played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Penrith Panthers. He also represented the Indigenous All Stars team.

Tyrell Fuimaono's Early Life
Tyrell Fuimaono was born in Penrith, New South Wales, Australia. His family heritage is a mix of Indigenous Australian (from the Wiradjuri people), Samoan, and Tokelau backgrounds.
He started playing junior rugby league for the St Marys Saints club. In 2014, while attending Patrician Brothers' College, Blacktown, he was chosen to play for the Australian Schoolboys rugby league team. This is a big honor for young players.

Starting Out in 2016
In 2016, Tyrell signed with the Parramatta Eels club. He played for their junior teams, including the S. G. Ball Cup and the National Youth Competition (NYC). He was even named as a top young player in the 2016 NYC team of the year.
Joining South Sydney in 2017
Tyrell moved to the South Sydney team in 2017. Before playing in the main NRL competition, he spent the first half of the season playing for the North Sydney Bears in the NSW Cup. He played 8 games for them.
Tyrell made his first appearance in the NRL for South Sydney on May 12, 2017, against the Wests Tigers. After his debut, he played in every game for the rest of the season, totaling 15 matches. He also scored 2 tries, which are like touchdowns in rugby league.
Challenges in 2018
The 2018 season was tough for Tyrell. He faced some injuries, which limited him to only 5 games for South Sydney. Because of his injuries, he wasn't able to play in the team's final games of the season.
Moving to Penrith in 2019
After leaving South Sydney at the end of 2018, Tyrell signed with the Penrith Panthers for the 2019 season. He played his first game for Penrith in Round 1 of the 2019 NRL season against Parramatta.
Later that year, on September 16, 2019, Tyrell was one of ten players who left the Penrith club.
Playing for St. George Illawarra (2020-2022)
Joining the Dragons in 2020
On January 7, 2020, Tyrell signed a two-year contract with the St. George Illawarra team. This meant he would play for them in the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
In Round 11 of the 2020 NRL season, he scored his first try for the Dragons. This happened in a close game against the Cronulla-Sutherland team. Tyrell played in 17 games for the Dragons in 2020. The team finished 13th in the competition and did not make it to the finals.
The 2021 Season
In Round 10 of the 2021 NRL season, Tyrell was sent off the field during a game against Melbourne. This happened after a tackle on Melbourne player Ryan Papenhuyzen. After this, on May 17, 2021, Tyrell was suspended from playing for five matches by the NRL.
He played a total of 17 games for the Dragons in the 2021 season. The team finished 11th and again missed out on the finals.
The 2022 Season
On February 20, 2022, during a pre-season game, Tyrell was involved in a tackle that led to a suspension. He was suspended for five matches, which affected his playing time for the 2022 NRL season.

After his time with the Dragons, Tyrell Fuimaono signed to play for the Thirroul Butchers. This team competes in the Illawarra rugby league competition.
