Early Life and Education
Tyson Houseman has some Cree heritage. He was born and grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He went to the Victoria School of the Arts and graduated from there.
After finishing the Twilight films, Tyson moved to Montreal. He studied at Concordia University for four years. He earned his degree in 2014.
His father, Howie Miller, is a professional comedian. He is known for the sketch comedy show Caution: May Contain Nuts.
Acting Career
Tyson Houseman's most well-known role is Quil Ateara. He first played this character in The Twilight Saga: New Moon in 2009. He then played Quil again in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in 2010. He also appeared in the final two Twilight movies.
Giving Back
In March 2010, Tyson Houseman joined other actors from The Twilight Saga. They played in a special baseball game. This game helped raise money for important causes. The money went to help people after an earthquake in Haiti. It also supported the Blood Center of Southeast Louisiana and the 9th Ward Field of Dreams.
