The USG Ardagger/Neustadtl club started in 1996. They began playing in the Lower Austria Women's league during the 1996/97 season. The very next year, they were good enough to move up to the second women's league, specifically the East division.
In the 2001/02 season, they won their league! This big win meant they were promoted to the ÖFB-Frauenliga. They have been playing in this top league ever since.
