Uceta Yard is a large area where trains are sorted and repaired. It's located in a part of Tampa that isn't for homes. The special code for mail in this area is 33619.
History
Uceta Yard was once a very important place for the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad (ACL). It was their main "classification yard" in central Florida. A classification yard is where train cars are sorted and put together to form new trains.
This yard was in Tampa. It was right next to another yard called Yeoman Yard, which belonged to the Seaboard Air Line Railroad (SAL). Uceta Yard also had big workshops to fix train cars and engines.
In 1967, the ACL and SAL railroads joined together. They formed a new company called the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad. After this, Uceta Yard became less important. It was mostly used to store train cars. It also became a place for "intermodal freight transport." This means goods could be easily moved between trains and other types of transport, like trucks. Later, in the early 1980s, the railroad became known as CSX Transportation.
