Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 facts for kids
Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 was an airplane flight between Iran and Ukraine that crashed shortly after it flew away from Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport on 8 January 2020. All 176 passengers onboard and its crew died.
On 9 January 2020, it was reported that U.S. officials believed that plane was shot down by an Iranian Tor-M1 surface to air missile, probably by mistake.
On 11 January 2020, Iran said that it had shot down the plane by mistake.
