Umar Kamani started his career in 2006. He worked for his family's business, Boohoo.com. Boohoo is a big online fashion store. In 2014, Boohoo became a public company. This helped the Kamani family become very wealthy.
Creating PrettyLittleThing.com
Umar Kamani and his brother Adam Kamani started PrettyLittleThing.com in January 2012. Their goal was to create a fun and affordable fashion brand.
Soon, many famous people started wearing clothes from PrettyLittleThing. These included stars like Miley Cyrus, Rita Ora, and Nicki Minaj. This helped the company grow very quickly.
PrettyLittleThing grew from 65 employees in 2014 to 300 by the end of 2015. They went from sending out 20 orders a day to shipping 20,000 packages daily.
