The Universidad Iberoamericana León (IBERO León) is a private university in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. It is a Catholic university run by the Jesuits, a religious order. The university was started in 1978. It was first a part of the main Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Now, IBERO León operates on its own. It is also part of the Jesuit University System, which is a very large network of universities around the world. This network includes more than 200 universities on five continents.
