The Ural River starts high up in the Ural Mountains. From there, it flows southwards until it reaches the Caspian Sea. This journey makes it the third longest river in Europe.

As the Ural River makes its long journey, it passes through several important cities. Two of these large cities are Orsk and Uralsk. These cities are important centers for people living along the river. The river provides water and helps with transportation in these areas.
