Urvashi Dholakia, born on July 9, 1978, is a famous Indian television actress. She is widely known for playing the role of Komolika in the popular TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She also won the reality show Bigg Boss 6.

Urvashi Dholakia was born on July 9, 1978. Her mother is from Punjab, and her father is from Gujarat.
She got married when she was 16 years old. At 17, she had twin sons named Kshitij and Sagar. She has raised them on her own.
Urvashi Dholakia's Acting Career
Starting Out in Acting (1985–2000)
Urvashi Dholakia began acting at a very young age. When she was just 6 years old, she appeared in a TV commercial for Lux soap. She also acted as a child in the TV series Shrikant, playing the role of Rajlaxmi.
Her first adult role on TV was as Shilpa in the show Dekh Bhai Dekh. After that, she appeared in Waqt Ki Raftar.
Becoming a Popular Star (2000–2011)
The 2000s were a very successful time for Urvashi Dholakia. She became one of the most popular actresses. She received many awards and a lot of praise for her roles in shows created by Ekta Kapoor. These shows included Ghar Ek Mandir, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Kahiin To Hoga.
Her role as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay (which ran from 2001 to 2008) was especially famous. Many people consider Komolika to be one of the most iconic villain characters in Indian television history. This role earned Urvashi Dholakia many awards. She has worked with Ekta Kapoor many times since then.
Winning Bigg Boss and More (2013–2019)
In 2012, Urvashi Dholakia took part in the reality show Bigg Boss 6 on Colors TV. On January 12, 2013, she was announced as the winner of that season.
Later, in 2017, she appeared in the historical fantasy series Chandrakanta on Colors TV. In this show, she played the role of Queen Iravati.
Return to Television (2022–Present)
In 2022, Urvashi Dholakia returned to acting in TV dramas. She joined the cast of Naagin 6, playing the character of Urvashi.
