Playing for Clubs
Víctor Casadesús was born in Algaida, a town on the island of Mallorca, Spain. He started playing football in the youth teams of his hometown club, RCD Mallorca. This is where young players learn and train to become professional footballers.
Starting with Mallorca
Víctor first played for Mallorca's main team on April 17, 2005. It was a La Liga game, which is Spain's top football league. The game against Valencia CF ended in a 0–0 draw. Over the next few seasons, he became an important player for the team's attack.
Loan Periods and Goals
In 2008, Víctor went on loan to Real Sociedad, a team in the Segunda División (Spain's second division). A loan means a player temporarily plays for another team. He scored many goals there, but his team could not get promoted to the top league.
Later in 2008, he was loaned again to Gimnàstic de Tarragona, another second-division team. He had a great season, scoring 13 goals. This was the most goals he had ever scored in a single season at that point.
Key Moments with Mallorca
During the 2009–10 season, Víctor often played as a backup for another strong forward, Aritz Aduriz. He played more often in the Copa del Rey, which is a cup competition in Spain.
On January 14, 2010, he scored two goals against Rayo Vallecano in the Copa del Rey. This helped his team win 3–1 at home. Unfortunately, he got injured during that game and had to leave the field.
In the league, Mallorca finished fifth, which was a great result. They even qualified for the UEFA Europa League, a big European competition. Víctor helped the team by scoring four goals that season.
Later Career Moves
After leaving Mallorca in January 2014, Víctor played for several other teams. He moved between the first and second divisions with clubs like Levante UD, CD Tenerife, and AD Alcorcón.
In the summer of 2019, when he was 34 years old, he joined FC Andorra. This team played in the Segunda División B, which is Spain's third division. He continued to play football until 2023, finishing his career in Andorra.
Playing for Spain
Víctor Casadesús also played for the Spanish national Under-19 team. He was part of the team that won the 2004 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
In the semi-final match against Ukraine, the game ended in a 2–2 draw. It went to a penalty shootout, where Víctor scored a goal. Spain won the shootout and went on to become champions!
