Playing for Clubs: Víctor's Career
Víctor Casadesús was born in Algaida, a town on the island of Mallorca in Spain. He started playing football in the youth teams of his hometown club, RCD Mallorca.
Starting with Mallorca
Víctor first played for Mallorca's main team on April 17, 2005. This was in a La Liga match against Valencia CF. He quickly became an important player for the team in the years that followed.
Loan Spells and Goals
In 2008, Víctor went on loan to Real Sociedad, another Spanish club. He scored many goals for them, but his team could not move up to the top league. Later that year, he was loaned again to Gimnàstic de Tarragona. He had a great season there, scoring 13 goals, which was his highest number of goals in one season at that time.
Returning to Mallorca
When he came back to Mallorca for the 2009–10 season, Víctor often played as a backup for another strong forward, Aritz Aduriz. He played more often in the Copa del Rey (a cup competition). In January 2010, he scored two goals to help his team win a Copa del Rey match. However, he got injured during that game, breaking his collarbone. In the league, Mallorca finished fifth, which allowed them to play in the UEFA Europa League. Víctor helped by scoring four goals that season.
Moving to New Teams
After leaving Mallorca in 2014, Víctor played for several other clubs. These included Levante UD, CD Tenerife, and AD Alcorcón. He played in both the first and second divisions of Spanish football. In 2019, when he was 34 years old, he joined FC Andorra, which played in a lower division. Later, he also played for Inter Club d'Escaldes and Atlètic Club d'Escaldes in Andorra.
Playing for Spain: International Games
Víctor Casadesús also played for the Spanish national team when he was younger.
Under-19 Championship
In 2004, he played in the 2004 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Spain won this tournament! Víctor scored a goal in the semi-final match against Ukraine. His team won that game after a penalty shootout.
