Donald Mason, known as Vakill, is an American rapper from Chicago, Illinois. Born on March 21, 1975, he is famous for being part of a hip hop group called The Molemen. Vakill has released three studio albums.

Vakill's Early Life and Music
Vakill grew up on the South Side of Chicago. He became interested in hip hop when he was only eight years old. At first, he focused on break dancing. In the 1980s, Vakill started to focus on rapping. He looked up to famous rappers like Kool G Rap, Pharoahe Monch, and Nas.
In 1991, he met a classmate named Ed Zamudio. Ed later became known as Panik. Vakill, Panik, and two producers named Memo and PNS formed the group The Molemen.
Vakill's Music Journey
Vakill started his solo music career in 1995. He released a cassette called Who's Afraid?. He continued to make music in Chicago, working with many other artists. In 1996, he released a notable song called "Keep the Fame." He worked on this song with Percee P and Rhymefest.
Vakill also contributed to many Molemen projects. His songs appeared on their EPs Below the Ground (1997) and Buried Alive (1998). He also had songs on their albums Chicago City Limits, Vol. 1 (2001) and Ritual of the Molemen (2001). In 2001, a collection of his early songs and freestyles was released. It was called Kill Em All.
First Albums
Vakill released his first official album, The Darkest Cloud, in 2003. It was released by Molemen Records. The album was produced by Molemen members Panik and Memo, along with DJ Contakt and Mixx Massacre. The song "End of Days" was a single from this album. Even though the album was praised, it mostly stayed popular within the underground rap scene.
Three years later, in 2006, Vakill released his second album. It was called Worst Fears Confirmed. This album also featured production from The Molemen. It included guest appearances from well-known lyricists Ras Kass and Royce Da 5'9". In 2011, he released his third studio album, The Armor of God.
