Valashahr (Persian: والاشهر) is a city located in the country of Iran. It is found in the Fars Province, which is a large region in Iran. Valashahr is the main city, or "capital," of the Jereh and Baladeh District. This district is part of a bigger area called Kazerun County.
Before Valashahr became the capital of Jereh and Baladeh District, it was the capital of a different area. This older area was known as Jereh Rural District. Later, the capital of Jereh Rural District moved to the village of Jereh.
