Education and Training
Valeriu Zgonea went to the "Frații Buzești" National College in Craiova from 1981 to 1985. After that, he studied at the Bucharest Institute of Civil Engineering. He joined the Faculty of Railways, Roads, and Bridges Construction.
He also took courses from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. These courses focused on how to manage people and projects. In 2001, he learned about political communication and media relations in Washington, D.C. He also completed a course on negotiation. Later that year, he studied at the University of Amsterdam. There, he took a famous course called "Internet and Politics."
Family Life
Valeriu Zgonea married Laura Zgonea in 2014. He has a son named Dragoș Alexandru from an earlier marriage. He also has a daughter named Maria from a previous relationship.
