Van Horn is a small place in Skagit County, Washington, in the United States. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a city or town with its own local government. Instead, it's part of the larger county.
History
Van Horn got its name from one of its very first settlers, a person named James V. Van Horn. A post office was opened in Van Horn in 1901. This post office helped people send and receive mail. It stayed open for many years until 1925.
