Vicki Adams was born on May 13, 1951. Her birth name was Vicki Herrera. She was born on the Yakima Indian Reservation in Toppenish, Washington. Vicki has a rich Native American background. Her family includes people from the Yakama, Snohomish, Puyallup, Cowlitz, Cayuse, and Umatilla tribes. Both Vicki and Leon competed in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). This is the top rodeo group in the U.S. They were both recognized for their amazing performances. Leon won the PRCA Specialty Act of the Year award in 1982. Vicki won the same award in 1984. They both won it together in 1987 and again in 1997. For 19 years in a row, they were nominated for this special award!
