Victoria Cirlot Valenzuela, born in 1955, is a Spanish expert who studies old books and cultures from the Middle Ages. She is also a philologist (someone who studies language in historical texts), a translator, and an editor. Her father was the famous poet Juan Eduardo Cirlot.

Victoria Cirlot is a professor at several universities in Barcelona, Spain. She teaches about medieval literature and how different literatures compare at Pompeu Fabra University. She also teaches about Celtic religion at the University of Barcelona and about symbols at Universitat Ramon Llull.

She helps edit a book series called El Árbol del Paraíso for a publishing company called Editorial Siruela. She also helped start the Institut Universitari de Cultura and works with a research team called Biblioteca Mystica et Philosophica Alois M. Haas. Victoria Cirlot is also part of the Institut Carl Gustav Jung Barcelona. She studies things like mysticism (spiritual experiences), symbology (the study of symbols), the history of religions, and how people understand art and literature.

Victoria Cirlot was born in Barcelona. Her father, Juan Eduardo Cirlot, wrote a book called A Dictionary of Symbols, which she later edited and added a special ending to. Her sister, Lourdes Cirlot, is also a professor.
