Victoria Greene Hochberg, born on December 24, 1952, is an American director and writer for movies and TV shows. She has directed many popular TV series.

Victoria was also part of a special group called the "Original Six." This group helped create the Women's Steering Committee of the Directors Guild of America. They worked to fight against unfair treatment of women in Hollywood.

Education and Early Life

Victoria Hochberg studied history at Antioch College. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974.

Directing and Writing Career

Victoria Hochberg has directed episodes for many well-known TV shows. Some of these include Doogie Howser, M.D., Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Touched by an Angel, Melrose Place, Ally McBeal, and Sex and the City. She also directed episodes of Ghost Whisperer and Reaper.

Besides directing, Victoria Hochberg has also written for television. She wrote the TV movie I Married a Centerfold. She also wrote four episodes for the series Me & Mrs. C.

In 1975, Hochberg made a short documentary film called Metroliner. This film was later saved and preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2015.

Awards and Other Work

Victoria Hochberg has won two Daytime Emmy Awards for her directing work. She won for directing ABC Afterschool Special: Just a Regular Kid: An AIDS Story in 1988. She also won for the PBS television film Sweet 15 in 1990.

She has also directed music videos for famous bands. These include videos for the Eagles and Boz Scaggs.

In 2002, Victoria Hochberg directed a movie called Dawg. This film starred actors Denis Leary and Elizabeth Hurley.
