Elizabeth Jane Hurley (born 10 June 1965) is an English actress and model. She is well-known for her movie roles. These include playing Vanessa Kensington in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997). She also played the Devil in Bedazzled (2000).
On TV, Hurley starred in The Royals (2015–2018). She also played Morgan le Fay in Runaways (2019). This show was based on Marvel Comics. She also appeared as Diana Payne in Gossip Girl (2011). Her first big movie role was in Passenger 57 (1992).
In 1994, Hurley became famous for wearing a special black Versace dress. She wore it to a movie premiere in London. Since 1995, Hurley has worked with the beauty company Estée Lauder. She models their products, especially perfumes. Hurley also has her own line of beachwear.

Elizabeth Hurley was born on 10 June 1965. Her birthplace was Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. Her mother, Angela Mary, was a teacher. Her father, Roy Leonard Hurley, was a major in the army. Elizabeth has an older sister, Kathleen, and a younger brother, Michael.
When she was a teenager, Elizabeth went to Harriet Costello School. She was interested in punk fashion. She dyed her hair pink and pierced her nose. She wanted to be a dancer and took ballet classes. After school, she studied dance and theatre at the London Studio Centre.

Charity work

Elizabeth Hurley met actor Hugh Grant in 1987. They were working on a Spanish movie together. They were a famous couple for many years. In 1994, Hurley gained a lot of media attention. This was when she wore a special black Versace dress to a movie premiere. After 13 years, Hurley and Grant announced they had broken up in 2000.
On 4 April 2002, Hurley had a son named Damian Charles Hurley. Hugh Grant is one of Damian's godfathers. Hurley is also a godmother to other famous children.
In late 2002, Hurley started dating Indian businessman Arun Nayar. They got married in 2007. Hurley lived on a large organic farm in England with her son and husband. In December 2010, Hurley announced that she and Nayar had separated. Their divorce was finalized in June 2011.

In late 2011, Hurley became engaged to Shane Warne. He was a famous Australian cricketer. In 2012, they bought a large home together in England. In December 2013, they decided to split up. Shane Warne passed away in 2022. Hurley shared a tribute to him.
