Victorino Otero Alonso was born in 1896 in a place called San Andrés de las Puentes in Spain. He became a professional cyclist in 1918. For several years, he rode as an individual racer. This meant he didn't belong to a specific team.
Later, he joined different cycling teams. In 1925, he raced for Gimnástica de Torrelavega. The next year, he was part of the Victoria team. He continued to race until 1928, ending his career with SC Cantabra. Victorino Otero passed away in 1982 in Torrelavega, Spain.
