Viddal Ethan Danso Riley (born 7 July 1997) is a talented English professional boxer, rapper, and internet personality. He currently holds the British cruiserweight title, which he won in April 2025. As a young amateur boxer, he earned a silver medal at the 2013 European Junior Championships.

Early Life and Beginnings
Viddal Riley was born in Hackney, London, on 7 July 1997. He grew up in Tottenham, another part of London. He went to Northumberland Park Community School in Tottenham.
Before becoming a full-time professional boxer, Viddal worked as a personal trainer. He met and trained several famous YouTube stars at a gym in Stratford, London. This included KSI, a well-known internet personality. Viddal gained a lot of attention when he helped train KSI for his boxing matches against Logan Paul.
Amateur Boxing Journey
Viddal started boxing when he was just six years old. His father, Derrick Riley, introduced him to the sport. He trained at the West Ham Boxing Club as a young amateur.
Viddal won eight national championships during his amateur career. He also won a silver medal at the European Junior Championships in Russia in 2013. In 2014, he represented Team GB at the Youth Olympics in Nanjing. His amateur record was impressive, with 41 wins and 8 losses, including 19 knockouts.
Professional Boxing Career
Starting as a Pro Boxer
In 2018, Viddal Riley visited the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas. He was preparing for KSI's second amateur fight. While there, he sparred with Andrew Tabiti, a professional cruiserweight champion. Viddal impressed boxing experts Jeff Mayweather and Amer Abdallah. Soon after, he signed a deal to become a professional boxer.
Viddal's first professional fight was on 30 November 2018, in Mexico. He won by knockout in the first round against Julio Manuel Gonzalez. His next fight was in Las Vegas in January 2019. He won again by knockout in the first round. His third fight was in Dubai in May 2019, where he won by a unanimous decision. He was the main event for that fight.
In 2019, fellow boxer Lawrence Okolie, who later became a world champion, praised Viddal. Okolie said Viddal was one of the top five people he had ever sparred with. Viddal continued his winning streak, improving his record to 4 wins and 0 losses in February 2020.
Viddal had to miss some fights due to a back injury. In November 2021, he signed a new deal with Boxxer, a boxing promotion company.
Fighting in the UK
Viddal made his UK debut on 19 February 2022. He fought Namibian boxer Willbeforce Shihepo and won by unanimous decision. This brought his professional record to 5 wins and 0 losses.
In his sixth professional fight on 11 June 2022, Viddal had a huge knockout win. He defeated Jone Volau in just 51 seconds of the first round.
Becoming English Cruiserweight Champion
Winning the Title Against Nathan Quarless
On 30 September 2023, Viddal Riley fought Nathan Quarless for the vacant English cruiserweight championship. Quarless had not lost any fights before this. Viddal won the fight by unanimous decision, winning every round on all three judges' scorecards. After his victory, Viddal challenged Isaac Chamberlain, who had just won the British cruiserweight title.
Defending the Title Against Mikael Lawal
Viddal defended his English cruiserweight title against Mikael Lawal on 31 March 2024. Lawal was a former British champion. Viddal won the fight by unanimous decision. During the fight, Lawal fractured three of Viddal's ribs in the first round. After the match, Viddal and Isaac Chamberlain had a heated discussion about fighting each other.
Fighting Dan Garber
In December 2024, Viddal fought Dan Garber in Liverpool. This was a non-title fight and Viddal's first fight at heavyweight. He won by technical knockout in the second round.
Cancelled Fight with Isaac Chamberlain
After his win against Garber, Viddal and Isaac Chamberlain agreed to fight in February 2025. However, Chamberlain had to pull out of the fight due to an injury.
Becoming British Cruiserweight Champion
Winning the British Title Against Cheavon Clarke
After the cancellation of the Chamberlain fight, Viddal's next big match was announced. On 26 April 2025, he faced Cheavon Clarke for the British cruiserweight title. The fight took place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Viddal won the fight by unanimous decision, becoming the new British cruiserweight champion and keeping his English title.
