Video Comics, also known as Video Comic Book, was a fun children's TV show. It first appeared on a channel called Columbus Alive! (C-1). This channel was part of QUBE, an early interactive cable TV system in Columbus, Ohio. Later, the show moved to Nickelodeon. It was one of the very first shows to air when Nickelodeon started in 1979.
What Was Video Comics?
Video Comics took classic comic book stories and brought them to life on TV. The show would zoom in and move across the pages of DC Comics. This way, viewers could see the artwork and read the speech bubbles. It was like watching a comic book come alive!

The Opening Theme
