Wiktoria "Viki" Gabor is a talented singer from Poland. She was born on July 10, 2007. Viki became famous in 2019 after being a runner-up on The Voice Kids Poland. Later that year, she won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with her song "Superhero".

Viki's win was special for a few reasons. She was the second Polish singer to win the contest. Also, it was the first time a country won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest two times in a row. And it happened right in Poland!

About Viki's Early Life

Viki Gabor was born in Hamburg, Germany. Her family is Polish Romani. After she was born, her family moved back to Poland. They later lived in the United Kingdom for a while. When Viki was seven, they settled in Nowa Huta, Poland. Viki has an older sister named Melisa. Melisa is also very musical and helps write songs.

Viki's Music Journey

Starting with The Voice Kids

In late 2018, Viki Gabor tried out for the second season of The Voice Kids Poland. She joined the team of coaches Tomson & Baron. Viki did very well in the competition. She made it all the way to the finals. During this time, she released her first song, "Time".

Winning Junior Eurovision

After The Voice Kids, Viki performed her song "Time" at a big music festival called Top of the Top Sopot Festival 2019. Then, she was chosen to compete in a show called Szansa na sukces. This show picked the singer who would represent Poland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019.

Viki won Szansa na sukces with her song "Superhero". The Junior Eurovision contest took place on November 24 in Gliwice, Poland. Viki performed eleventh in the show. She ended up winning the whole competition! The professional judges placed her second, but she got the most votes from fans online.

This victory was a big deal. Viki was the second Polish singer to win Junior Eurovision. It was also the first time the host country won the contest. And Poland became the first country to win the contest two years in a row.

After Junior Eurovision

Since winning Junior Eurovision in 2019, Viki has released many new songs. In 2020, she released "Ramię w ramię" with singer Kayah. She also released "Getaway" in April 2020.

Viki worked with other young singers like Roksana Węgiel and Marcin Maciejczak. She released a song called "Still Standing" with them. Viki and her sister Melisa wrote this song together. In July 2020, Viki released "Forever and a Night". Then, in August 2020, she released "Not Gonna Get It". This was the last song released before her first album came out.

On her birthday, July 10, 2020, Viki announced her first album. It was called "Getaway (Into My Imagination)" and came out on September 4, 2020. Viki's songs have been very popular online. She has many views on YouTube and Spotify.

At the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020, which was also held in Poland, Viki performed. She sang the song "Arcade" as a special guest. She performed with Roksana Węgiel, who also won Junior Eurovision before her.

In August 2021, Viki signed a new music contract with Sony Music Entertainment Poland. She then released a song called "Moonlight" on September 3. In October, she became the face of an advertising campaign for ING Bank Śląski. On November 26, she released a music video for "Toxic Love." On February 4, 2022, she released "Napad na serce."

In spring 2022, Viki took part in a TV show called Your Face Sounds Familiar. She reached the finals and finished in fourth place. On May 21, she performed at the Polsat SuperHit Festival 2022. On June 24, she sang a duet with Armenian singer Maléna. Maléna won Junior Eurovision in 2021. They sang "Girls Need Love" together in Rzeszów.

Most recently, on May 11, 2024, Viki was the spokesperson for Poland's jury votes at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
