Villar del Olmo is a small town in Spain. It is a municipality located in the eastern part of the Community of Madrid. This town is sometimes seen as part of the Las Vegas District or the Comarca de Alcalá. In 2022, about 2,219 people lived here. The town covers an area of 28 square kilometers.
Fun Festivals
Villar del Olmo has several special days and festivals throughout the year:
- On February 5th, people celebrate St. Agatha.
- On May 15th, they honor San Isidro, who is the town's patron saint.
- On September 15th, there are big parties and celebrations for Our Lady of Solitude.
Getting There
If you want to visit Villar del Olmo from Madrid, there are a few ways to get there. You can take the A-3 highway and exit at number 22 towards Campo Real. Another way is to take the A-2 highway, then the M-50 towards Valencia. Take the first exit for Torrejón de Ardoz on the M-206. From there, follow signs towards Loeches, Pozuelo del Rey, and Nuevo Baztán. You will then see signs for Villar del Olmo.
