Vilmarie Mojica is a talented volleyball player from Puerto Rico. She was born on August 13, 1985, in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. Vilmarie played as a setter, a key position in volleyball. She even captained the Puerto Rico women's national team.
Vilmarie led her team in the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan. Her team finished in eighth place. They got to play in this event because they received a special invitation called a "wild card."

Vilmarie's Volleyball Journey
Vilmarie Mojica started playing for the national team in 2002. She continued to represent Puerto Rico until 2016. During her career, she played in several important international competitions.

Vilmarie took part in the 2002 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship held in Germany. She also played in the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. These are big tournaments where teams from all over the world compete.
NORCECA Championship Success
In 2007, Vilmarie was recognized as the Best Setter at the 2007 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship. Her team finished fifth in that competition. NORCECA stands for North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation.
Pan-American Cup Achievements
Vilmarie also earned a bronze medal with her team at the 2009 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup. She was named the Best Setter at this event too.
