Vladimir Grigoryevich Fedotov (Russian: Владимир Григорьевич Федотов) was a famous Soviet and Russian football player and coach. He was born on January 18, 1943, in Moscow. Vladimir was known for being a powerful "striker," which means he was a player who scored many goals. He played his entire career for one club, CSKA Moscow. He also played for the Soviet Union's national team. After he stopped playing, he became a football manager, guiding many teams. He passed away on March 29, 2009. Vladimir was the son of Grigory Fedotov, another very famous Soviet football and ice hockey player.
