The Volusia County Fairgrounds has two main arenas. These are large, open spaces perfect for different kinds of shows and activities.
Tommy Lawrence Arena
The Tommy Lawrence Arena is a huge outdoor space. It can hold about 3,000 people in its seats. The floor is very big, about 22,400 square feet (2,080 m2)! This arena is used for many exciting things. You might see sporting events, amazing circuses, or even live concerts here. For concerts, it can fit up to 4,500 people. The ceiling is quite high, reaching between 24 and 34 feet (10 m).
Townsend Livestock Pavilion Arena
The Townsend Livestock Pavilion Arena is another outdoor arena. It's a bit smaller, with seats for about 1,300 people. The floor space is around 10,000 square feet (1,000 m2). This arena is great for smaller events. Its ceiling is also very tall, from 20 to 48 feet (15 m).

Townsend Livestock Pavilion Exhibit Hall

Talton Exhibit Hall
Smaller trade shows and events often happen in the Talton Exhibit Hall. This hall has about 8,100 square feet (750 m2) of space.
What Happens Here?
All four of these areas together have a total of 58,770 square feet (5,460 m2) of exhibit space. They can be used separately or combined for big events. This includes conventions, trade shows, and, of course, the famous Volusia County Fair. All these places have restrooms and places to buy snacks. They also have modern sound systems so everyone can hear clearly.
