Voyage of the Little Mermaid is a super fun live show at Disney's Hollywood Studios in the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida! It's like watching a shorter version of the classic 1989 movie The Little Mermaid. The show brings the story to life with real actors and amazing puppets. Plus, there are cool special effects like lights, lasers, and even a little rain over the audience!

You'll hear familiar voices too, like Jess Harnell as Sebastian and Pat Carroll as Ursula. Many of the voice actors are the same ones from the original movie! This show opened on January 7, 1992. It took the place of another show called Here Come The Muppets.

Dive into the Show!

Before the main show begins, you'll see a small display with cool items. These include King Triton's trident. Then, you'll enter the theater. It's important to stay seated during the show because of all the special effects!

The adventure starts with the famous song "Under the Sea". You'll see lots of colorful puppets glowing under special "black light." Next, Ariel sings "Part of Your World". After that, Ursula appears to sing her spooky song, "Poor Unfortunate Souls". Ursula is a giant puppet, about 12 feet tall and 10 feet wide!

After Ursula takes Ariel's voice, a quick video shows what happens next in the movie. This leads up to the sea witch's defeat. The show then moves to the scene where King Triton lets Ariel go with Prince Eric. At the very end, a curtain of falling water covers the stage. This makes it look like you're "returning" to the surface! Voyage of the Little Mermaid is located in the Animation Courtyard area of the park.
