Woodrow Wilson Goode Jr. (born August 9, 1965) is an American politician. He served on the Philadelphia City Council from 2000 to 2016.

W. Wilson Goode Jr. was born on August 9, 1965. His father, Wilson Goode, was a former Mayor of Philadelphia.
Education and Early Career
Goode Jr. went to Central High School. After that, he studied at the University of Pennsylvania. He also continued his studies at Harvard Kennedy School.
Serving on the City Council
In 1999, Goode Jr. was elected to the Philadelphia City Council. He was an "At-Large" councilman. This means he represented the entire city, not just one neighborhood. He was re-elected three times, serving until 2016.
Making a Difference in Philadelphia
During his time on the City Council, Goode Jr. worked on many important issues. He led committees that handled city money and helped businesses grow. He helped create over 145 new city rules.
