The Story of the Wadjiga People
According to their traditional stories, the Wadjiga people came from two different groups. These groups were called the Wainjigo and the Wadja. Over a long time, these two groups lived together on the same land. Because they lived side by side for so long, their separate ways of life and identities blended together.
