Wagner is a town located in Marinette County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In the year 2000, about 722 people lived there. Several smaller communities are part of the town of Wagner. These include Goll, McAllister, Packard, and a community also named Wagner.

A Look at Wagner's History

The town of Wagner was created in 1915. Before that, it was part of another area called Porterfield. People living east of Middle Inlet wanted their own separate town.

The town was named after Joseph Wagner (1850–1925). He was the first supervisor for the county board in this area.
