Wajeeh uz Zaman Khan Swati (born October 27, 1965) is a Pakistani politician. He holds the title "Khan of Agror," which was also held by his father, Fakhar uz Zaman Khan. The family comes from Oghi in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

About Wajeeh uz Zaman Khan
Wajeeh uz Zaman Khan was born in 1965 in the Mansehra area of Hazara. His father, Fakhar uz Zaman Khan, was a former member of the national assembly. His family, the Swati tribe, once ruled the Oghi/Agror area. However, the British government took away their power in 1888.
His mother, Fauzia Fakhar uz Zaman Khan, was a member of the Senate of Pakistan. She came from a family in Lahore, Punjab.
Education and Legal Work
Wajeeh uz Zaman Khan went to Aitchison College Lahore for his early schooling. He then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. After that, he studied law at the University of the Punjab in Lahore.
He became a lawyer and worked with a well-known law firm. He practiced law in the Islamabad High Court for several years.
Political Journey
After his father passed away, many expected Wajeeh uz Zaman Khan to enter politics. He decided to follow his family's tradition.
First Election and Success
In the mid-1990s, he became more involved in politics. He first ran in the 1993 General Elections in Pakistan. He was a candidate for the PK-56 Mansehra provincial seat. He won this seat and kept it for 22 years.
In 1997, when he was 30 years old, he became the Minister of Health. He continued to hold his provincial seat until 2018.
Leaving a Political Party
In 2013, he won his seat again as a member of the Pakistan Muslim League-N party. However, he later decided to leave this party. He made this choice because he felt his area was not getting the money it needed for development. He wanted to make sure the people who voted for him saw improvements in their community.
Impact and Reputation
Many people believe that Wajeeh uz Zaman Khan is the reason the Agror valley has developed so much. He is known for being against corruption. In his 25 years in politics, he has never been accused of corruption. He is a highly respected person in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.
He also served as the Chairman of DDAC Mansehra. In this role, he set a high standard for performance.
