Warren is a small, unincorporated community located in Carbon County, Montana, in the United States. It sits at an elevation of about 4,419 feet (1,347 m) above sea level. You can find Warren along Montana Secondary Highway 310. Its exact location is 45°03′36″N 108°39′30″W / 45.06000°N 108.65833°W.
History of Warren
Warren started out as a farming town. It was located north of the border between Montana and Wyoming.
Today, Warren is known for its large limestone quarry. This is where limestone rock is dug out of the ground and processed. A post office served the community of Warren for many years, from 1911 to 1953. Most of the original buildings from the old town are no longer standing. However, there are still modern homes and other buildings in and around the Warren area today.
