Warren Barfield's Music Journey
Early Albums and First Hits
Warren started his music career by making his first two albums, Beyond Me and My Heart Is Quiet, on his own. In 2003, a music company called Creative Trust Workshop (CTW) signed him. This helped more people hear his music. Songs like 'My Heart Goes Out' and 'Mistaken' from his third album, Warren Barfield, became popular. They were Top 10 hits on Christian radio.
CTW closed down later. Warren's next album, Reach, was released by Reunion Records in 2006.
Worth Fighting For and Fireproof
His album Worth Fighting For came out in 2008. It was produced by Charlie Peacock. A song from this album, "Love Is Not a Fight", was used in the 2008 movie Fireproof.
The "Love Worth Fighting For" Tour
The movie Fireproof inspired a special tour called "Love Worth Fighting For". This tour focused on helping people strengthen their marriages. Warren Barfield helped create and produce this tour with Mike Williams. The tour ran for many years, from 2009 until 2018. Over 200,000 people attended these events.
The tour featured actor Kirk Cameron, who was in the Fireproof movie. Warren Barfield also performed music, told jokes, and shared stories. His song "Love Is Not a Fight" was inspired by his own thoughts about marriage.
Redbird and Later Work
In 2012, Warren released his album Redbird. He made this album independently, meaning without a major record label. It had a more acoustic sound, which means it used more instruments like guitars and less electronic sounds. Music critics said it was a rewarding album to listen to.
In 2009, Warren also began working as a speaker. He became an advocate for child sponsorship, helping children in need. In 2017, Warren officially stopped working in the Christian music industry.
