His Music Journey
Warren Barfield started his music career by releasing two albums on his own. These were called Beyond Me (in 2000) and My Heart Is Quiet (in 2001).
In 2003, a music company named Creative Trust Workshop (CTW) signed him. This helped his music reach more people. Two songs from his third album, Warren Barfield, became very popular. These songs, 'My Heart Goes Out' and 'Mistaken', made it into the top 10 on Christian radio.
Later, CTW closed down. Warren then released his next album, Reach, in 2006 with Reunion Records.
His third studio album, Worth Fighting For, came out in 2008. It was produced by Charlie Peacock. A song from this album, "Love Is Not a Fight", was even used in the 2008 movie Fireproof.
The "Love Worth Fighting For" Tour
The movie Fireproof inspired Warren Barfield to create a special tour. It was called "Love Worth Fighting For". This tour focused on helping people understand how to keep marriages strong.
The tour ran for many years, from 2009 to 2018. Warren worked with a promoter named Mike Williams to create and produce these events. Over 200,000 people attended the tour!
During the tour, actor Kirk Cameron (who was the main actor in Fireproof) would speak. Warren Barfield also shared his music, comedy, and thoughts. His song "Love Is Not a Fight" was inspired by things he learned about his own marriage.
Later Music and Work
In 2012, Warren released his album Redbird. He produced this album independently, meaning he did it on his own without a big record label. It had a more acoustic sound, which means it used more instruments like acoustic guitars.
Some music critics said Redbird might be different from his earlier pop-style music. However, they also said it was a "very rewarding listen" and showed that Warren was still a strong artist in Christian music.
In 2009, Warren also started working as a speaker. He became an advocate for child sponsorship, helping children in need.
In 2017, Warren Barfield decided to step away from his work in the Christian music industry.
About His Life
Warren has been married since September 1, 2001. He and his wife have two children.
