First Tour de France in 2015
The 2015 season was important for Warren. He focused on the 2015 Tour de France for the first time. He had some challenges with his fitness in the spring. But he finished 12th in the Tour de Suisse. This race helped him get ready for the Tour de France.
He started the Tour de France well. He was 8th overall after the first week. He finished his first Tour de France in 14th place overall.
Challenges and Strong Finishes in 2016
In January 2016, Warren and five teammates were hit by a car while training in Spain. Luckily, all the riders were in stable condition.
Warren showed good form in one-day races. He finished 6th in 2016 Liège–Bastogne–Liège. He also placed 9th in La Flèche Wallonne. In the Tour de Suisse, he finished 3rd on Stage 7. This put him in the lead for a short time. He started the 2016 Tour de France well, being 4th overall early on. However, his form dropped, and he finished 23rd overall.
Amazing Year in 2017

Warren had a fantastic 2017 season. He finished 8th overall at Paris–Nice. He then placed 6th in La Flèche Wallonne. After a crash, he recovered and came back strong for the 2017 Tour de France.
He earned the polka dot jersey (for the best climber) after Stage 9. He won Stage 13 in a sprint finish from a small group. This was his first Tour de France stage win. He was also the first Frenchman to win a Tour de France stage on Bastille Day since 2005. Warren then won Stage 18, which finished on a very tough climb. After this win, he had a huge lead in the mountains classification.
Later in 2017, Warren was asked to leave the 2017 Vuelta a España by his team. This happened because he disagreed with the team's plans and wanted to ride for himself in the mountains.
