Warrensburg is a community in Warren County, New York, United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that looks like a town but isn't officially a city or town with its own government. In 2020, about 3,045 people lived here. Warrensburg is part of the larger Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The community is located on U.S. Route 9. It sits by the Schroon River, which is east of the Hudson River. You can also find it west of Interstate 87, also called The Northway. The entire CDP of Warrensburg is located within the larger town of Warrensburg.

Even though the CDP is a small part of the whole town, it has most of the town's people. About 75% of the town's population lives in this area. Many historic buildings in Warrensburg are part of the Hamlet of Warrensburgh Historic District. This district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. Other important historic spots listed include the Merrill MaGee House, the Mixter Blacksmith Shop, and the Warrensburg Mills Historic District.

Warrensburg covers a total area of about 11.3 square miles (29.2 square kilometers). Most of this area, 11.1 square miles (28.7 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 0.2 square miles (0.5 square kilometers), is water.

The community is located west of Lake George. It is also completely inside the beautiful Adirondack Park. This park is a large protected area known for its forests, mountains, and lakes.
