Warrington, also called Ōkāhau in Māori, is a small town in New Zealand. It's located on the coast of Otago, which is in the South Island. Warrington sits near the northern edge of Blueskin Bay. This area has many mudflats just north of Dunedin. The town is managed as part of Dunedin City.

Warrington is about 3 kilometers from State Highway 1. You can reach it by taking Coast Road. A railway line, the Main South Line, also runs through the town. A special tourist train called the Seasider passes through Warrington once or twice a week. It travels between Dunedin and Palmerston.

Warrington beach is a popular spot for surfing. Both locals and visitors from the city enjoy its waves. Volunteer lifeguards from the Warrington Surf Life Saving Club keep the beach safe. This club started in Dunedin in 1957 and moved to Warrington in 1976.

St Barnabas Church is one of the oldest buildings in the area. It's an important part of Warrington's history.

In the 2018 New Zealand census, Warrington had a population of 489 people. This was an increase of 42 people since the 2013 census. It was also 60 more people than in the 2006 census. There were 237 homes in Warrington at that time.

The population included 249 males and 240 females. About 93 people (19%) were under 15 years old. There were 54 people (11%) aged 15 to 29. The largest group, 249 people (50.9%), were aged 30 to 64. Lastly, 90 people (18.4%) were 65 or older.
