Waverly Hills is in a hilly part of Louisville. Its borders are roughly Stonestreet Road and 3rd Street Road to the south. Dixie Highway forms its western edge. St Andrews Church Road is to the north, and the neighborhood of Auburndale is to the east. How Waverly Hills Changed

Not long ago, until the 1990s, Waverly Hills was mostly countryside. It had many trees and open spaces. But since then, the area has grown a lot. Many new, nice housing developments have been built.

Today, Waverly Hills is one of the wealthiest areas in Louisville's South End. Families living here earn a good amount of money each year. Also, many adults in the neighborhood have gone to college. The biggest changes and new buildings have happened along Arnoldtown Road.

The neighborhood gets its name from a famous old building, the Waverly Hills Sanatorium. This building has a long history.

Waverly Hills is also home to Waverly Park. This park is a great place for outdoor fun. Inside the park, you can find the 9-hole Bobby Nichols Golf Course, where people can enjoy playing golf.
