Weird but True! is an exciting American TV show that teaches you cool facts! It was created by and stars Charlie Engelman. His sister Kirby Engelman was also a co-star for the first two seasons. In the third season, Carly Ciarrocchi joined as a co-star.

This show first aired on National Geographic Kids. Later, it became a Disney+ Original series. The third season started on August 14, 2020. The show gets its ideas from the "Weird but True!" book series by National Geographic. It also uses a lot of paper models, just like Charlie and Kirby's earlier short video series called Nature Boom Time.

What is Weird but True! About?

The Engelman siblings use paper crafts to explore many "weird but true" things. Most of these topics are about science. They travel to different places to find answers.

They visit experts in places like crime labs and amusement parks. They even go to the Everglades! They want to discover amazing and sometimes strange facts. Often, the experts they interview share their favorite "weird but true" fact. Charlie and Kirby's other sister, Casey, sometimes appears as a guest on the show too.
