Wesley Jonathan is an American actor who has starred in many TV shows and movies. He is well-known for playing Jamal Grant in the NBC show City Guys (1997–2001). He also played Gary Thorpe in What I Like About You (2002–2006). You might also remember him as Sweetness in the movie Roll Bounce (2005). Later, he was Noah Cruise in Crossover (2006). He also played Fletcher "Stamps" Ballentine on TV Land's The Soul Man (2012–2016).

Wesley Jonathan started acting in the early 1990s. One of his first jobs was in a music video for Melissa Manchester. After that, he worked on the TV show 21 Jump Street.
He had two big roles in TV series. He played Jamal Grant in City Guys. He also starred as Gary Thorpe in What I Like About You. In this show, he was the best friend of Holly, played by Amanda Bynes. He also acted alongside Jennie Garth.
Wesley Jonathan has appeared in many other popular TV shows. These include Sister, Sister and Moesha. He was also in Boy Meets World and Smart Guy. Some of his other TV appearances were in Thea and Baywatch. He also appeared in A Different World and Boston Public.
He has also been in several movies. These include Roll Bounce and Crossover. He was also in National Lampoon's Bag Boy. In the 1995 film Panther, he played the role of Bobby Hutton.
