Whitehall's Story: A Look Back
Whitehall was first planned out in 1838 by a person named James Brown. He named this new community after a town he knew from his home state of North Carolina. A post office, where people could send and receive mail, was opened in Whitehall in 1848. It stayed open for many years but eventually closed down in 1907.
