Widyaningrum Surya Nugraha, known as Widya Saputra, was born on February 26, 1985. She is a famous TV presenter from Indonesia. Many people know her as the presenter for the MotoGP World Championship on Trans 7 television. She started this role in 2006. Since April 2010, she has also been a presenter for the sports news show, MetroSport, on Metro TV.

Widya was born in Cimahi, Indonesia, on February 26, 1985. She went to elementary school in Cimahi. Later, she studied at Universitas Padjadjaran. She focused on communication management.
Widya loves to sing, read books, and explore the internet. Her friends often call her Cat Lady. She was married to Dodi Saputra in 2010.
Widya's Career Journey
Widya started her career very young. In 1993, she began singing in a group called Trio Laris. They even won an HDX Award! She was part of this group until 1997.
She also won some beauty contests. She won Gadis Gemilang Shower to Shower. This contest was promoted by Gadis magazine. In 1998, she won the Cover Girl Top Guest Baby-G contest. This was organized by Aneka magazine.
First TV Appearances
Widya's first TV job was in 1998. She became a presenter for a show called Kring-Kring Olala on TPI. She worked on this show until 2001. She also worked as a model. She appeared in ads for brands like Dago Cellular and Biore Anti Acne.
In 2000, Widya started presenting shows for many TV stations. She worked on Musiq for TVRI. She also worked on other shows for national and local TV. In 2003, she was a guest VJ for MTV on GlobalTV.
Acting and Sports Presenting
Widya also tried acting. She was in a soap opera called Puteri Keempat on RCTI. She acted alongside Tya Ariestya and Irfan Hakim. In 2006, she had a small role in the movie Pocong 1.
Today, Widya is well-known as a sports presenter. In 2003, she presented Calcio Action Serie-A on SCTV. From 2004 to 2008, Widya worked at TV7 (which later became Trans7). She presented many sports events there. These included Drag Mania, Quiz Liga Inggris, and WSBK.
From 2006 to 2008, she was the main MotoGP presenter on Trans7. However, she missed the last two races in 2008. This was because she was covering the Asian Beach Games in Bali. Lucy Wiryono took her place for those races. In 2007 and 2008, Widya also presented Lega Calcio Serie-A matches.
