Widyaningrum Surya Nugraha, known as Widya Saputra, is a famous TV presenter from Indonesia. She was born on February 26, 1985. Many people know her as the presenter for the MotoGP World Championship on Trans 7 from 2006 to 2008. Since April 2010, she has been a presenter for the sports news show MetroSport on Metro TV.

About Widya Saputra
Widya was born in Cimahi, Indonesia. She finished her early schooling there. Later, she studied communication management at Universitas Padjadjaran. Widya loves to sing, read books, and explore the internet. Her friends often call her Cat Lady. She was married to Dodi Saputra in 2010.
Widya's Career Journey
Early Beginnings in Music and Modeling
Widya started her career very young. In 1993, she joined a singing group called Trio Laris. They even won an HDX Award! She was with the group until 1997.
After that, Widya won a contest called Gadis Gemilang Shower to Shower. This contest was promoted by Gadis magazine. In 1998, she also won the Cover Girl Top Guest Baby-G event. This was organized by Aneka magazine.
Stepping into Television
Widya's first TV job was in 1998. She became a presenter for a show called Kring-Kring Olala on TPI. She worked on this show until 2001. She also became a model for many products. These included Dago Cellular, Biore Anti Acne, Misyelle Shoes, and Logo Clothing Co.
From 2000 onwards, Widya presented shows on many different TV channels. She hosted Musiq on TVRI. She also worked on other shows on national and local TV. In 2003, she was a guest VJ for MTV's Special Ramadhan show on GlobalTV.
Acting and Sports Presenting
Widya also tried acting. She was in a TV drama called Puteri Keempat on RCTI. She acted alongside Tya Ariestya and Irfan Hakim. In 2006, she had a small role in the movie Pocong 1.
Widya is well-known as a sports presenter. In 2003, she presented Calcio Action Serie-A on SCTV. From 2004 to 2008, she worked at TV7 (which later became Trans7). There, she presented many sports events. These included Drag Mania, Quiz Liga Inggris, and WSBK.
From 2006 to 2008, she was the main MotoGP presenter on Trans7. However, she missed the last two races of the 2008 season. This was because she was covering the Asian Beach Games in Bali. Another presenter, Lucy Wiryono, filled in for her. In 2007 and 2008, Widya also presented Lega Calcio Serie-A matches.
