Wilfred Reilly's Work
Debates and Books
In 2016, Dr. Reilly had a televised debate with another speaker, Jared Taylor. Dr. Reilly argued that having many different kinds of people in society is a good thing. He said it makes life "more interesting, civilized, and fun." He also showed that countries with only one main group of people, like Bosnia or Somalia, can still have lots of conflict. This is because different groups within those countries might fight each other.
Dr. Reilly finished his PhD in 2015. His main research was about how people feel about themselves based on their background. In 2019, he wrote a summary of this research for a magazine called Commentary.
In 2020, Dr. Reilly published a book called Taboo. In this book, he talks about how some topics, especially about race, gender, and social class, are hard to discuss openly in American society.
Wilfred Reilly's Views
In 2016, Dr. Reilly shared his thoughts on a presidential candidate. He said the candidate was using "dog-whistle politics." This means using words that sound normal to most people but send a hidden message to a specific group. He also said that the 2016 election showed some "dark corners" of the internet.
