William Washington James Haynes (born October 2, 1993) is an American YouTuber, TV host, rapper, and podcast host. He became well-known for his work on SourceFed and its related channels. William Haynes also has his own personal YouTube channel called WilliamHaynesTV. As a musician, he uses the name Arsenio Silverstone.

Early YouTube Videos

William Haynes started making short comedy videos and sharing his thoughts on life in 2008. Many of his early videos talked about the election between Obama and McCain. He often used humor to talk about being a "nerd" and not fitting in. He called his fans the "Nerdy Nation" and would often end his videos by saying, "Give peace a chance."

In 2012, he traveled to London to make videos about the 2012 Summer Olympics. He was part of a group called "Team Super Jackal Hawk Tiger Explosion!" led by WheezyWaiter.

Working with SourceFed

Before William Haynes became a host for SourceFed, he worked as an editor for The Philip DeFranco Show. He first appeared as a host on SourceFed in January 2014. Haynes was on many shows there, including TableTalk, The SourceFed Podcast, People Be Like, and 5 Things with Lee Newton.

His most popular shows were People Be Like and Politics Be Like. People Be Like started in August 2014 on the main SourceFed channel. In 2015, it became its own channel. SourceFed announced it was closing on March 20, 2017. The last People Be Like video was posted on March 24, 2017.

The She Didn't Text Back Podcast

In April 2015, William Haynes and Daren Vongirdner (also known as DVG) started a podcast called She Didn't Text Back. They talked about relationships, comedy, music, and their daily lives. They also shared stories about their careers and gave advice to fans. Sometimes, they would even do freestyle rapping or poetry.

DVG is a musician, and they often discussed his music career and music in general. They also held live shows for the podcast. After 56 episodes, the podcast stopped for a while. The hosts later said it was on a break for personal reasons. However, She Didn't Text Back made a surprise return on August 28, 2017, for a second season.

On February 21, 2017, he released his second music project, The Rise, on iTunes, SoundCloud, and Spotify. He later shared on his podcast and Twitter that his next music would be under a new name, Arsenio, and would have a different style.

William Haynes was one of 23 people who ran in the 2017 Los Angeles mayoral election. He ran against the mayor at the time, Eric Garcetti. He decided to run after President Donald Trump won the 2016 United States presidential election. His main idea for Los Angeles was to improve the city's water supply. However, William Haynes decided to stop his campaign on December 9, 2016.
